Paula Deen Ham Salad – Many years ago my mother fixed ham salad, and I liked it so much better than plain ham sandwiches. Having left- over ham from the holidays, I looked for a recipe that was much like what she made. This filled the bill.
Ham Salad _ is a classic way to enjoy a second meal using some of that leftover ham. Our recipe is slightly different than most ham salad recipes we’ve seen, & uses a mix of dill pickles & sweet pepper relish for a fantastic flavor!
Ham Salad - The saltiness of the ham is offset by the sweet relish, and the mayo holds it all together. This is a great easy recipe using left over ham. This ham salad makes a great snack sandwich or good on crackers.
6 cups ham, coarsely ground 4 eggs, hard boiled and chopped 1 cup celery, finely chopped cup onion, finely chopped cup sweet pickle relish 1 cup mayonnaise 4 tablespoons Dijon mustard teaspoon black pepper teaspoon dried basil
