Hot Pepper Jelly - I made it with sweet red, yellow, and orange peppers instead of the green. Used all Serano peppers for the heat. No food coloring. It made a beautiful amber jelly with red and green flecks.
FREEZER JELLY Simple Pepper Jelly: 1 bell pepper (red, green, yellow or orange- your choice) 2 sweet peppers (match the color to your bell pepper) cup apple cider vinegar 2 cups granulated sugar 2 tbsp pectin 2 drops matching food color (optional).
Sweet Pepper Jelly: cup finely chopped red bell pepper, cup finely chopped green bell pepper, 1 cup white vinegar, 6 cups white sugar, 2 packets liquid pectin tablespoons) 3 Pint Sized canning jars - sterilized (or Half Pint Sized canning jars)
