Daily 5 Choices... I like this and I have all these things in my classroom. Need to buy clothespins this year

Daily five A center organizer that ISNT a pocket chart!

Managing your literacy centers: Use magnetic pans & name magnets on a bulletin board. (This teacher uses "The Daily Five" but you could name the centers any way you'd like.))

Move your magnet to mark your Daily 5 choice

I love this board! It would take time to create, but seems sturdy and saves space. However, I think I would allow students to place their icons in spaces themselves as they enter the classroom in the morning and gently remind them of heir choices during work time.

Daily 5 board-color code the stations so they are easily recognized. I like that the kids' names stay in the same spot though

Each student has the maximum number of each of the Daily 5 that they can (listen to reading twice a week, read to self five times a week...) already in their own pocket. FANTASTIC way of keeping track of what they choose!

Rockin' Teacher Materials: Daily 5 Organization & a FREEBIE! A visual way to organize.kiddos picking as they come in before school starts.

This will be my first year implementing Daily 5 in my classroom. Last year as a Curriculum Coach and Resource Teacher, I was exposed to it...

"The Teacher's Backpack: Daily 5 Folders. A great way to help students organize their own materials, especially materials and anchors they need to keep over time and continue to reference, like rubrics and checklists." Could also use a binder.

Must Do May Do System INSTEAD of rotating reading centers! So much better! Great blog with great ideas for guided reading time!

I love this teachers "roll and read" center idea!
