Navajo Weaving Más

This brings back some memories - a Navajo woman taught a class of us in high school how to weave blankets because "the Navajos now weave them for the wrong reasons - they just want to sell them - so I am teaching you the right way to weave." Things like you always begin the weave from right to left, because if you call a coyote's name, he will always look over his right shoulder, and you don't want to be like a coyote - stuff like that. I still have the rug I made.
