Pedro Infante Cruz (18 November 1917– 15 April 1957), better known as Pedro Infante, is one of the most famous actors and singers of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema and is an idol of the Latinamerican people, together with Jorge Negrete and Javier Solís, who were styled the Tres Gallos Mexicanos (the Three Mexican Roosters). Infante was born in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. He was raised in Guamúchil. He died on 15 April 1957, in Mérida, Yucatán, in a plane crash.

Blanca Estela Pavón. February 21, 1926 – September 26, 1949. She appeared in many classic films of the 1940's as a young woman. Her career peaked between 1948 and 1949. She starred alongside Mexican star Pedro Infante in Ustedes los Ricos and Nosotros los Pobres. Their rendition of the song, Amorcito Corazon, is beloved by their fans.  On September 26, 1949, Pavon was killed in a plane crash near the Popocatépetl volcano located between Mexico City and Puebla. She was only 23 years old.
