Think about your behavior sheets. At my work we do a thing where the children have to write a letter to their parents/caregiver to give to them when the pick them up. This would be a good template.
This is a behavior think sheet for older students. The students actually have to write out what did that was inappropriate, what they should have done, and what they will do in the future. -Megan Gawronski
This visual think sheet is a simple way for students to reflect on their choices and think of better choices for the future.
The school where I teach is transitioning into using P.B.I.S..I created this Think Sheet for our staff to use. We make copies of the Think Sheet to keep on hand.We copied pages 2/3 in a front/back method and laminated them. We only needed one per classroom.
Behavior Think Sheet. I used something similar to this with some of my students who needed time away from the situation to settle down before discussing the problem with me.
Hold your students to high expectations throughout the school year. This 'Think Sheet' gives your students a chance to think about their behavior that they needed to take a break from and come up with a new plan of action. It also focuses on how their behavior effects others in their class not just themselves.
