THE 1911 CORONATION CROWN OF QUEEN-EMPRESS MARY, consort to King George V of the United Kingdom & Emperor of India. Originally set, in the front cross pattée with the KOH-I-NUR DIAMOND, it is now set with a crystal replica stone. This continental-style of double arches, not an English practice, was introduced for Queen Alexandra's 1902 consort coronation. The arches are detachable; thus, she wore the circlet for the coronation of her son, George VI.
