Bocce Ball courts vary in size and can be 10 to 12 feet wide by 60 to 90 feet long. The side-walls and backboard are generally constructed of treated lumber raised 6 to 12 inches higher than the base. The base is made of consecutive layers of 3 to 5 inches of pea gravel, 3 inches of crushed limestone, 1 to 3 inches of tennis clay or crushed oystershells.
