Blackwork Texture for a Portrait
For my Royal School of Needlework blackwork embroidery module I'm stitching an English Springer Spaniel portrait. As part of capturing a realistic likeness, I need to represent the different textures. Easier said than done! After plenty of sampling and advice from my tutors I'm quite happy with how it's going.
