Mardier soldiers are searching in an ancient jungle for a rumored city of gold. Rumors are as usual exaggerated, but they do find a very interesting temple to investigate further. Built for a challenge in Brethren of the Brick Seas, on Eurobricks.
A Mesoamerican-style temple, based on "El Castillo" in Chichen Itza, Mexico. Unfortunately, not done in time for the CCC but here it is nonetheless. Kinda looks like a render in this shot, but it's definitely real.
A sculpture in low relief Toltec style, between the eleventh and thirteenth centuries, depicting an eagle. This bird was an essential symbol in Aztec mythology, associated with the legendary founding of the city of Tenochtitlan.
