I first learned to write paragraphs using the hamburger method. Each sentence of a paragraph correlated to a different layer of a burger. The buns were the introduction and concluding sentences, in which they stated the main idea of the paragraph. Then the toppings and meat were quite literally the “meat” of the paragraph, where these sentences would include details, example, and anecdotes relating to the main idea.
