They picked their favorite book used a piece of cardstock folded to look like a book with a binding. They illustrated the cover, and wrote a brief summary on the back. We read some summaries on the back of some of the books in our class library and the students noticed that many of them ended in questions. We discussed how the questions left you wanting to read more to find out what happens in the book. add their photo & DONE!

Must do this in my reading corner of the classroom! Great Fall Display Idea -- This display is by Bess Gonglewski - she is responsible for the displays and bulletin boards at the Marriott Library at the Holton-Arms School in Bethesda, Maryland (USA).

Read a Super Book- get kids to create recommendations

Want to do this for next school year!(maybe add Wonder Woman as well)"Read a Super Book" is a fun reading bulletin board idea that involves your students in writing about books that they thought were super.

Owl classroom door and bulletin board idea: Look Whoo's in our room.

Dr. Seuss...oh the places you'll go BB

It's fun to see a Dr. Seuss bulletin board display in a high school. This "Oh, the Place You'll Go!" display was located outside a high school counseling center and the pictures are of students visiting college campuses.

Cute, good for favorite books too

Great way to display class rules, reminders, etc. Use student photos with speech bubbles. **I think I will try this display for parent teacher interviews and the speech bubbles would say the most important thing they learned this term!

Sweet Reads By Lisa Stofac --- For this lovely display Lisa has made a giant Sweethearts candy box and put hearts with book titles all over the board.

Sweet reads bulletin board - let children write a book they loved on a heart and you could give them a "chalk" heart treat.

i saw an idea like this but in order to create the alphabet wall each person invited to your baby shower could be assigned a letter to decorate for the baby's room.such a cute idea!
