Saboe Died November 15, 2003 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom 33, of Willow Lake, S.D.; assigned to the 4th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), based in Fort Campbell, Ky.; killed Nov. 15 when two 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters went down in Mosul, Iraq.
Marine Cpl Pablo V. Mayorga, 33, of Margate, Florida. Died April 15, 2006, serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Assigned to 2nd Tank Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated beneath his vehicle during combat operations in Fallujah, Anbar Province, Iraq.
Marine Cpl. Joshua D. Snyder Died November 30, 2005 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom 20, of Hampstead, Md.; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; died Nov. 30 of wounds sustained from small-arms fire while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Fallujah, Iraq.
Army Sgt. 1st Class Brandon K. Sneed Died October 10, 2005 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom 33, of Norman, Okla.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Benning, Ga.; killed Oct. 10 when an improvised explosive device detonated near their M2A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle during combat operations in Ramadi, Iraq.
Marine Pfc. Christopher N. White Died June 20, 2006 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom 23, of Southport, N.C.; assigned to 1st Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.; killed June 20 while conducting combat operations in Karmah, Iraq.
Marine Lance Cpl. Jon E. Bowman Died October 9, 2006 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom 21, of Dubach, La.; assigned to 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; killed Oct. 9 while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Ramadi, Iraq.
Marine LCpl. Benjamin W. Tuttle, 19, of Gentry, Arkansas. Died July 14, 2013, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Assigned to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 323, Marine Aircraft Group 11, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California. Died at Landstuhl Regional Medical Ctr following medical evacuation from aircraft carrier USS Nimitz during a port visit in the 5th Fleet Area of Responsibility. This incident is under investigation.
Army Staff Sgt. Kimberly A. Voelz Died December 14, 2003 Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom 27, of Carlisle, Pa.; assigned to the 703rd Explosive Ordnance Detachment based in Fort Knox, Ky.; killed while responding to an explosive ordnance disposal call Dec. 14 when an improvised explosive device detonated in Iskandariyah, Iraq.
