Here’s a look at the cast-bronze doors of the elevators in the Richfield Oil Company building, built in 1929. They were much admired -- and one look at this photo shows why. The beautiful design of these black-and-gold doors captures the roar of the ‘twenties, with an Art Deco splendor that is hard to beat.
