The Great Northern War (1700-1711) was a conflict in which 3 Northern European states; Russia led by Tsar Peter I The Great, Poland-Lithuania-Saxony led by King Augustus II 'The Strong' & Sweden led by King Charles XII a brilliant general called the "Last of the Vikings", with various allies fighting for each of the sides at different times, including England, the Netherlands & the Ottoman Empire.
