Suet Cakes: Make seedy suet cakes easily and economically. Just combine one part peanut butter, two parts birdseed, and five parts cornmeal to each part melted beef suet (available in the meat section of your grocery store). Pack the eggs using a teaspoon, snap them together and place into an egg carton for chilling. Chill the eggs for a couple of hours and remove carefully. Be sure to dry the bird seed eggs in a paper egg carton as styrofoam tends to encourage mold. makes about 3 dozen eggs.
