These flaky sugar cookies are almost dangerously fast to make. Buttery puff pastry forms the base of these simple cookies, which feature a cinnamon sugar and pecan swirl throughout each bite. Getting that perfect spiral is surprisingly easy. The key is rolling the topped pastry into a tight log, and then giving it a quick freeze before slicing.

Ingredients:
 • ½ cup granulated sugar, divided
 • ½ (17.3-oz.) package frozen puff pastry, thawed (1 sheet)
 • ¼ cup finely chopped pecans
 • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
 • 1 large egg, beaten

Spectacularly Spooky Halloween Boards and Treats
How To Create A Spooky Veggie Plate - Occasions By Shakira
This is the easiest way to make veggies fun this Spooky Season! I love to add a little bit of spooky magic to our treats and trays during this time of the year. While there are plenty of candy and sweets going around, I love that this is a healthy option for snacks and packing in lunchboxes. I used large carrots and cucumbers to create veggie ghosts. I pulled skeleton picks from my Occasions Bin™ to create mini veggies skewers, and filled a mini cauldron with ranch (or you could use hummus) for dipping.
It’s officially spooky season y’all! I HAD to share what I created this past weekend. 💀👻🤍
