INGREDIENTS 3tbsp thick natural yoghurt 1 heaped tbsp tatlı biber salçası (sweet / mild red pepper paste) 1 tsp pul biber 1 tsp sweet paprika 1 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp sea salt flakes 1 tsp coarse black pepper 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp finely grated fresh garlic 1kg chicken breast fillets cut into large 3-4cm chunks 100ml grated onion juices (only the juices, not the onion itself - you can freeze the grated onion or use in köfte recipes) METHOD Mix together all the ingredients other than the chicken and onion water. Here is how I made it: 1.We’ll start with the chicken marinade - thats key here. Cube up 2lbs of chicken thighs, add them to a bowl, drizzle them with 2 tbsp of Avocado Oil, 3-4 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt, 2 tbsp tomato paste, the juice of 1 large lemon, 6 finely minced garlic cloves, 1 tbsp thyme, 1 tbsp sweet paprika, 1/3 tsp cinnamon, a couple pinches of salt and pepper.
