Alice Wood – an artist who creates unique, original paintings from natural materials.
I live and work in Russia. Nature is my main inspiration. Any shape, texture, color that occurs to me already exist in the natural environment. Many of my works are painted under the impression of travelling to the Russian north. I became interested in the freedom of the vast sea, the smell of the forest and the silence of the snow. I got into a feeling of longing and nostalgia when I got home. I wanted to paint everything that I saw and learned. So that each painting reflects its unique state.
